TOP 5 NON LEGENDARY POKEMON WORTH POWERING UP IN POKEMON GO

Today’s episode we’re gonna be talking all about the top five a non legendary Pokemon that you should be powering up in Pokemon go. Also I want to say if you don’t see one of the Pokemon on this list that you think should.

non legendary pokemon

I’m going to be making an episode soon talking about the top 5 Pokemon with the highest potential. So make sure that you stick around for that. If you do enjoy this type of content be sure to LIKE and subscribe but without further ado let’s go ahead and get in to the episode coming in.

At the number 5 spot we have Ginga, max CP of 2619. Ginga is a dual type Pokemon of ghosts and poison-type. When we take a look at the stats, its best status going to be it’s a tax stat at 261 ranking out at 10th. And then it’s worst at is going to be its defense stat ranking out at 160 third.

Its overall ranking in Pokemon go is ranked at 90th. Let’s go ahead and take a look at that ideal moveset. so from an ideal moveset perspective I did put hex and Shadow Ball but that’s only because these moves are non legacy.

If you want a better move set you are gonna get a better one out of shadow claw and Shadow Ball. So if you are looking around trying to trade with people I would recommend you to try to get a shadow claw Shadow Ball. But let’s go ahead and talk a little bit about why Ginga is such a high potential Pokemon.

So first things first, Gengar as it stands is the number one attacker from a ghost type perspective. At least a pure ghost-type pokémon. Technically a pokémon like Mewtwo can perform it better from a ghost sight because it knows the move Shadow Ball.

But when you’re talking about just ghost type Pokemon in general, Gengar is going to be the number one attacker. So then basically with this list what I try to do is look into the future to just see do these pokemons have any threats. Is there any reason why you would not want to invest in them?

So Ginga has a pretty interesting situation, because at least from a non legendary perspective with generation 4 has no threats. The only threats that it has to take away that number one spot is going to be Giratina. So Giratina from generation four is a ghost type Pokemon that could theoretically outperform Gengar.

But in all honesty is it going to be that big of a deal if a leg a legendary or a mythical Pokemon outperforms a non legendary. I think that that would kind of just fall in line to what we have seen so far. But even if that were to happen Gengar would still hold the number two spot from a ghost type perspective and I personally think is going to be a good investment.

Let’s go ahead and move into the number four spot, Machamp with a Maxie P of 2889. Machamp is a pure fighting type Pokemon. Let’s go ahead and take a look at the stats from a stats. Perspective the best stat is going to be attacking 234 ranking out at 30th and then the worst stat is going to be the defense raking out a one hundred and forty eighth, giving an overall ranking of thirty fifth and Pokemon go.

When we take a look at the ideal move set it’s going to be counter and dynamic punch. so Machamp is going to be an interesting Pokemon to talk about, because as it stands once again it is the number one Pokemon from a fighting-type perspective, which is really cool considering it is a non legendary Pokemon. So that’s a very similar situation to what Ginga was as well.

So when you talk about a future threat, well there’s really not going to be any legendary or mythical threats from generation four at least from a fighting-type perspective. but in reality the only threat that Machamp is going to have is going to be the Pokemon Gallade.

So Glade picking up the fighting type, is going to technically be able to outperform a champ, as long as the move set is going to be counter and dynamic punch. the reason for that is because Gallade attacks stat is 237 which is going to be just a couple more than Machamp.

Which means it could theoretically outperform like I said it is going to depend on the move set. but once again worst case scenario you have a Pokemon that’s going to only be the second best and that’s not bad at all. so that’s why I think Machamp is going to be a very important Pokemon to invest in.

Let’s go ahead and move into the number three spot. and that is Gyarados with a Maxie P of 3281. Gyarados is a dual type Pokemon of water and Flying type. when we take a look at the stats check out that attack stat at 237 that would be the same as glades ranking out at 25th and then the worst stat is going to be the defense stat 197 ranking out at 68.

The overall ranking for Gyarados and Pokemon go is 12. When we take a look at that I do moveset it’s going to be waterfall and hydro pump. so Gyarados is a fairly interesting Pokemon to talk about, because first things first Gyarados was not always the best water type attacker in the game.

It initially was Vaporeon but with the new move set adding on waterfall Gyarados all of a sudden was able to take over that number one spot over Vaporeon, from a non legendary standpoint. of course Gyarados has a threat against Kyogre.

Kyogre has just some massive stats and it can’t really compete but this video is all about non legendary Pokemon that you should invest in. So when we talk about future threats from a water-type perspective. Gyarados really isn’t gonna have anything that’s gonna be too much of a threat from a non legendary standpoint.

One legendary Pokemon that I think would be fairly interesting that could kind of outdo it is going to be Palkia. so Palkia is at least gonna be a water type but once again we don’t know how the move set is going to work. it could potentially not have a double water type meaning that Gyarados would still hold on to the number 2 spot even when generation 4 gets in.

So this is why I think the Gyarados is going to be a Pokemon that you should invest in. let’s go ahead and move into the number 2 spot and that’s going to be a Knight, with a maxi P of 3581. Dragon Knight is a dual type Pokemon of Dragon and then also flying type. Let’s go ahead and take a look at the stats.

When we take a look at the stats its best stat is going to be it’s a taxed at 263 ranking out at night. then its worst at is going to be defense. and 201 it ranks out at 62nd so this is going to be a Pokemon that is very good from a statistical standpoint. and it shows in the overall ranking of seventh currently in Pokemon go.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at that ideal move set and that’s going to be dragon tail and outrage. this is going to by far be the most ideal dragon-type moves set. so you might be wondering maybe you watched the last video that I made where I talked about how incredible Salamence was from a dragon-type perspective.

So between the two Pokemon settlements does have the chance of outperforming Dragon Knight in most cases but because of the moveset outrage I think that dragon knight is going to make a little bit more sense to actually invest in. for a couple of reasons, one you don’t have to worry about the candy situation as much because it was selected as a community day Pokemon.

A lot of people do have the candy for it and then with you having the ideal move set of dragon tail in an outrage. I think creates a lot of future potential for Dragon Knight. at least from a non legendary standpoint. So of course there is a lot of competition basically from a dragon high perspective. but most of it is just gonna be from the legendary or mythical standpoint.

It’s not gonna be as much from the non legendary standpoint. so personally I’m thinking the Dragon Knight is going to be a solid option. let’s go ahead and get into the number one spot and that is Tyranitar with a maxi P of 3670.

Tyranitar is a dull type Pokemon of a rock and dark type. let’s go ahead and take a look at the stats. its best stat is going to be it’s a tax set 251 ranking out at 14. then when we take a look at that Idol moveset. it’s going to be smack down in Stone Edge. so smack down it was only available from a Community Day move, but because it was able to obtain this double rock type move set.

It is made Tyranitar the best rock type attacker and then also the best dark type attacker as well. which it already was originally. so let’s talk a little bit about threats for Tyranitar first we can cover the dark type perspective. basically there’s not going to be as much of a threat from a non legendary standpoint or a non legendary mythical standpoint. really the only chance is going to be dark rime.

So dark ride could theoretically outperform Tyranitar but like I said when you’re looking at it from a non legendary non mythical standpoint, I would say that Tyranitar is going to be a solid option from a dark type perspective for a while. but when we talk about the rock type perspective we’re actually gonna get a little bit of a different story.

Because although it doesn’t have any threats from the mythical slash legendary standpoint via rock. what it does get a threat from is a pokémon called rampardos. so rampardos is attack status almost to the point where it is at the level of MU. – I believe it is at 295 which is nothing to slouch against the only issue is that it’s gonna act a little bit like a glass cannon.

But even if that were the case if Tyranitar worst case scenario just falls down to the number 2 spot even though rampardos could basically be a glass cannon and Tyranitar still outperform it. worst case scenario you’re looking at a pokemon that’s going to be ranked at second basically from a future perspective even if this were to be added in Tyranitar is still going to be a solid option.

Which is why i selected it as the number one spot on this list. so anyways that just about wraps up this episode. I had a lot of fun making it. I’m definitely gonna make more videos like this in the future where we’re kind of covering the top five. so I do have a question of the day for you.

If there was a Pokemon that you think is worth investing in from a non legendary standpoint what Pokemon would it be that didn’t make this list be sure to put it in the comment section below. I’ll definitely be replying to you and collecting your ideas for a future episode as always if you did enjoy this episode be sure to LIKE and subscribe and I will see you next time.
